A Capable Cabinet Maker to Meet Your Requirements

Twelve years ago we had our kitchen remodeled by Century Cabinets. We decided to reface our built in cabinets, knowing the cost was less than replacement, but the refaced cabinets would require future maintenance. This year we decided to contact Mike at Century to refurbish the cabinets. His team did a first class job of sanding, staining and resurfacing. I recommend Century Cabinets for their workmanship. Also, the cost of the project was reasonable.

Mike and his crew, especially Walt, were fantastic. They did a fantastic job and I love my new kitchen. This was my first remodel and Mike couldn’t be nicer to work with. I would also like to highly recommend Rodrigo – he did the counter tops and backsplash. I am so impressed by his work. It is absolutely gorgeous.

We just finished our kitchen remodel – Mike and his team were amazing. Walt and Brad were great to work with, always showed up on time and did very high quality work. We started our kitchen remodel project back in March 2019. Mike Conner (Century Cabinets) previously built a bathroom vanity cabinet for us that we were very pleased with. Performing due diligence we shopped 3 other places for cabinets in addition to Century. Mike’s bid came in under the others. During the process we lost our original contractor and had to find a new one. Mike worked well with both of them. His consistently calm demeanor was much appreciated during transitions, delays and (poor Mike) the changes we threw his way, one of which was pretty major. Mike took it in stride. He and his crew are very methodical making sure to check and double check layout, measurements, stain or paint coloring and to verify what we discussed is exactly what we wanted. Our finished cherry cabinets are amazing! Everyone that walks in uses adjectives such as gorgeous, beautiful and even stunning! My wife and I agree. We could not be happier with these well-constructed and amazing looking cabinets. It is very rare these days to find someone that has good work ethics and takes pride in what they do. The entire crew at Century Cabinets, Mike, Walt, Humberto and Steve all are that way. Their main focus was to make sure that we were happy with the finished product.
We feel very fortunate to have had people like this working on our project and in our home.

We were so pleased with our kitchen, we had them make and install a tv entertainment system, (cabinets), in our family room. Century Cabinets are truly custom cabinets they are made here in Califonia to the customer’s needs, not prefabs that you find at a big box hardware store. Every cabinet is custom made and fitted to your space.

Mike, the owner, was great to work with, as were all his staff. They were all professional and friendly. He helped us with cabinet style choices and made really wonderful suggestions that greatly improved the look of our kitchen. He and his staff also suggested tile/backsplash, etc., options and vendors, which all worked out great too. He laid out the whole install procedure so we were well prepared and he was very patient with all my questions and any schedule change. The cabinets are beautiful, great workmanship, and the kitchen is now my favorite room in the house! I highly recommend Century Cabinets.
Description of Work: Our 67 year old kitchen needed refurbishing. Mike, Century Cabinets, described our various options and we decided upon new cabinets. He gave excellent advice regarding cabinet, countertop, layout choices, etc., and brought samples and/or info on each. He & his staff tore out the old kitchen cabinets and they did a great job installing the new. The whole process went very smoothly.

His quote was actually considerably cheaper than another company and the finish that he did was much nicer than what a larger company has stated they would be doing for $2000 more.

Mike Conner first came out to look at my kitchen in Spring, 2013. We wanted to reface some cabinetry and have custom cabinets made for other areas. We had a good amount of discussion of different things we could do and that conversation continued over a few more visits. Finally, we came to an agreement on the plan and Mike got to work on getting things built in their shop. Overall, the process was very smooth. The craftsmanship was very good, and there were custom aspects of our kitchen they did that exceeded our expectations – lazy susan turntables, inside cabinet storage racks, mixer stand, pull out spice rack. If we could imagine it, Mike and his guys would make it happen. One large new cabinet we had installed we decided was too big, so they took it back to the shop and made it about 4″ shorter, which was perfect. It was so refreshing to work with people who had attention to detail and were more worried about making it as good as it could be than anything else. All the contractors that worked on our kitchen were very professional and everyone who sees our kitchen comments on the quality and custom features. We couldn’t be happier.

Very easy to work with these people. Everyone was polite, did very nice work, showed up on time, cleaned up each day, and kept us informed throughout. We especially appreciated the scheduling of the work in such a way that we could see daily progress, there were no gaps in the work schedule. The job was completed even earlier than the estimate, which was a nice surprise.

Last summer, we contacted Century Cabinets for our kitchen remodel/reface in our new home. We used them in 2006 and were very satisfied, and contacted them again this time as part of a process that included 3 different bids from 3 different companies. Of the three, two, including Century Cabinets, were similar in price. However, Mike at Century Cabinets was far and away more responsive and approachable, and made us feel that he wanted to work with us. We were not “just a job.” Mike worked with us in much of the planning/color selection and scheduling of the job. (And recommended a vendor for another portion of the job with whom we were extremely pleased.) The job was completed in the time expected and looks great! We have had a small problem with one cabinet door, but Mike was prompt and responsive in his follow-up. I definitely recommend Mike Conner and Century Cabinets after 2 jobs.
